It would look like this: from east to west, it would start east enough of Haster that there would be enough clearance for it to completely go under Haster with 2 lanes on each side of the tunnel to access Haster like here: https://3.bp.blogspot.com/-0wQ1I5sdqU8/WTXpcN6eafI/AAAAAAAARIA/zbSFSRE5ZSIZOGuahpJUGU43k7izeKfFwCEw/s1600/lasallestreettunnel.colorized.jpg (since N/S street traffic wouldn't take Gene Autry Way to drive to the Convention Center anyways). It would reemerge to *just* make ground clearance with Harbor Blvd (is that the right terminology?). Aside from joking with the Boring bit I think this would be the most space-efficient, realistic way to do that. And don't even get me started on how much I think Disney or the city should invest in tram/bus tunnels from parking areas to the esplanade or the eastern gateway, if those plans ever stick.
