Welcome to Imagineerland, a new theme park design blog focusing on theme park design and discussion with an architectural basis.
I am an avid Disney and themed design fan as well as a current architecture student and have been producing my own conceptual works for many years. These plans have been seen on other websites and blogs over the past few years, but now I am excited to start my own website where I can feature my design process and opinions.
Ideally, I would like to be fairly active with postings and turn this into a substantial website. I have a large backlog of design projects and many more in my head just waiting to be designed. Additionally, I would like to post a series of architectural commentaries on theme park design, applying some of the lessons covered in architecture school to the parks. Working around my busy school life, I hope to be able to put up a post every few weeks, prompting continued discussion about the art of themed design.
The first post, a more detailed overview of my entry for the 5th Gate Challenge for Ideal Buildout, will be coming very soon. In the mean time, follow on social media, and welcome.
